Namhoon and Lee Do-yun brave their first drama shoot in school uniforms

The weight of a drama set, different from a music video

Namhoon and Do-yun, members of the group Lun8, have revealed behind-the-scenes glimpses of the filming set for the drama 'Kim Bu-jang.' The video released through Lun8's official channel captures the two preparing for their first shoot, wearing school uniforms and practicing their lines.

Namhoon mentioned the differences between music video filming and a drama set. Unlike music videos that are accompanied by music, he shared the difficulty of drama sets where one must create realistic scenes without music. He added that he repeatedly practiced, being conscious of every single step and movement to ensure natural motion, and noted the need for more practice because his body did not always follow his thoughts as intended.

This shoot was Namhoon's first attempt at acting. After performing a volleyball scene as the final shot of the first filming, Namhoon confessed, "Since I was doing something I am good at, my mind was at ease, but I am left with regret that I could have done better." In particular, ahead of an emotional scene, he revealed his honest pressure, saying, "It was difficult because I am a person whose emotions are dry."

After finishing the shoot, he shared the struggles he felt when the results did not match his preparation, stating, "I think I now understand what it means to say you have to prepare 200% to get 80% out." He further revealed that he received a lot of help while communicating and working alongside So Ji-sub.

Do-yun, who participated in the filming together, shared his thoughts, saying he was able to be less nervous thanks to his experience with multiple music video shoots, adding, "I'm glad I became an idol." He also expressed the hardships of filming in cold weather and performing scenes involving physical contact that could leave marks.

Toward Namhoon, who expressed his difficulties while attempting his first acting role, Do-yun offered warm encouragement, saying, "When I saw you up close, I didn't feel any awkwardness." At the end of the video, Namhoon introduced himself as 'Kim Namhoon of Kim Bu-jang' and vowed to return with a more improved appearance in the next shoot.
