Kwon Sung-jun wins Son Ye Jin’s fridge battle with a flawless dish

The results of the cooking battle between Chef Kwon Sung-jun and Chef Son Jong-won were revealed in episode 88 of the JTBC entertainment program 'Chef & My Fridge'.

Chef Son Jong-won completed both squid soup and pot rice within the short cooking time, delivering the flavor profile preferred by Son Ye Jin. Chef Son Jong-won was introduced as having a history of cooking since the age of 18. However, the final choice went to Kwon Sung-jun. The deciding factor was that Kwon Sung-jun's dish was completed without any mistakes.

The second cooking battle proceeded as a confrontation between the team of Chefs Lee Moon Jung and Park Eun Young against the team of Chefs Choi Hyun Seok and Yun Nam-no.

During this process, Yun Nam-no's personal voice recording was released, revealing the relationships between the chefs. Chef Yun Nam-no referred to Chef Choi Hyun Seok as 'Haeboji' (Father of the Sea). He compared Chef Choi Hyun Seok—who guided him through difficulties in past missions all the way to the semi-finals—to a father who drops his child off at the destination and gets off first.
